Creating and viewing bookings

While allowing your clients to book your services online is an important time saver, we also recognize the importance of being able to control your schedule and access it through any device, on-the-go. This is especially useful to schedule appointments with existing and recurring clients. There are three ways to create appointments from your admin. Once you create an appointment, Amidship will send both you and your customer an email and text confirmation.


Create a booking from the bookings page

  1. On desktop, click on "Bookings" on the left-hand menu, OR on mobile, click on "Bookings" on the bottom menu bar
  2. Click on an available (green) time slot on your calendar
  3. Click on "New booking"
  4. Choose the "Client" and "Service" from the drop-down menus
  5. Click on “Save"
  6. You should now see the new booking on your calendar, and under the "Sales" and respective client profile

Create a booking from the sales page

  1. On desktop, click on "Sales" on the left-hand menu, OR on mobile, click on "Sales" on the bottom menu bar
  2. Click on the “+” sign on the top right-hand corner of this page to add a new booking
  3. Click on an available (green) time slot on your calendar
  4. Choose the "Client" and "Service" from the drop-down menus
  5. Click on “Save"
  6. You should now see the new booking on your calendar, and under the "Sales" and respective client profile

Create a booking from the clients page

  1. On desktop, click on "Clients" on the left-hand menu, OR on mobile, click on "Clients" on the bottom menu bar
  2. Click on an existing client under the "Clients" section
  3. Click on "Create new booking" button on the bottom right hand corner of this page, OR switch to the "Bookings" tab then click on the “+” sign on the top right-hand corner of this page
  4. Click on an available (green) time slot on your calendar
  5. Choose the "Client" and "Service" from the drop-down menus
  6. Click on “Save"
  7. You should now see the new booking on your calendar, and under the "Sales" and respective client profile

View an existing booking

  1. On desktop, click on "Bookings" on the left-hand menu, OR on mobile, click on "Bookings" on the bottom menu bar
  2. By default, you should see the bookings for the week on desktop, or the bookings for the day on mobile
  3. To switch to another view, click on the "three dots" icon on the top right-hand corner of the calendar and select your preferred view
