Client Accounts
To complete an online booking, your clients will be required to create an account on your website. Using these accounts, your clients can:
- Create new appointments
- View and manage their existing appointments
- Add existing appointments to their Google Calendar
- Make online payments via credit card
- Update their contact information
This way, they can have easy online access to all their transactions with your business in one central location.
💡 Tips:
- When a client signs up for an account on your website, Amidship will create a corresponding client profile under the "Clients" tab in your admin. The profile will be filled with the contact information provided by the client during sign up
- Changes clients make to their bookings, payments, payment information, and contact information will automatically be updated in your admin. For example, if a client changes their address or phone number, their client profile will be updated with these changes.
- In the same way, changes you make to a client's bookings, payments, and contact information will automatically be updated in their client account.
- At any given time, only one email address can be associated with a client account.
- If a client forgets the email address associated with their account, they can simply reset their password by clicking on the "Forgot your password" button found on the Log in page.
